KARATEDO is an Art of Self defense, a spiritual exercise, an ancient Chinese Martial art from Shaolin to Okinawa and developed in Japan. The founder of Gojuryu is Sensei Chojun Miyagi (1888-1953)."Gojuryu" means the way of the hard and soft; "Go" implies hard, "Ju" implies soft, and "Ryu" means the way of. A hard technique requires the use of body strength and muscular tension. Soft techniques require a minimal use of muscular tension and are usually combined with body motion. Hard and soft techniques integrate to form a complete fighting system adaptable to any particular situation.
Karatedo Jintak-Kan group is now managed by Pro Strategy Consultants(HK)Ltd of which owned by Master Annice W.L. Chiu. JTK running since 1991, with more than 19 years of teaching Youth Karatedo Experience, Master Annice growing with the students and now running 28 dojos with 33 classes/weekly through out Monday to Sunday in Hong Kong, Kowloon and New Territories. The Active members including, Chinese, English, Japanese, American, Austrian, Jewish, Indian and Philippina.
In the past 19 ears, Karatedo Jintak-Kan has developed 1 Bronze Medal holder in Asian Karatedo Federation Championship (AUKO4)99, 4- 5th place in Asian Karatedo Junior & Senior Championship 99,01 (AUKO4 & AKF5), 1- 8th place in AUKO Junior (AUKO4 Junior) , 58Hong Kong Champions (Youth & Adult), 63-1st runner up and 93- 2nd runner up ,a total 214 awards & 5 Asian ranking.

Announcement: This is to announce that Karatedo Jintak-Kan is registered under Hong Kong Societies Ordinance Section 5A(1) and become the Affiliation of Hong Kong Karatedo Federation at the same year. Our dojos already listed on our "Dojo Info" Page, other than the mentioned, any Karatedo Organization holding similar name to ours is not related to our Organization.
